Idyllwild is the movie we ALL have been yearning to see on TV. For a long time. A movie for the whole family that tackles REALLY IMPORTANT life stuff and wraps it all up in a beautiful mountain ranch full of noble characters from our veteran and first responder community.

The entire world of Idyllwild was inspired by what creators/writers/directors Kate Zenna and Paula Tiberius see everyday and everywhere - people toiling with the challenges life throws at us.

We all sometimes want to run and hide from our day to day. What if we could watch a MOVIE that allows us to escape into a place that entertains as much as it inspires us to find a way forward in our own lives? What IF?!

WELL…That day has finally arrived. IDYLLWILD will be released VERY SOON (2027) and as soon as we can share WHERE, we WILL!

In the meantime, JOIN THE COMMUNITY and be part of making this world better by joining forces and helping to create inspiring film and television drama.

THE STORY OF IDYLLWILD

In late 2018, Kate Zenna visited Living Free Sanctuary in Idyllwild, California in hopes of seeing the many dogs and cats they had rescued there. Little did she know how much her life was about to change…

While on her visit to Living Free, Kate was invited to see an ‘equine therapy session’ that was in progress. Kate was keen to see what it looked like for horses to get therapy! She quickly learned that it wasn’t the horses getting therapy…it was the HUMANS! And not just any humans…but military veterans.

When Kate witnessed the profound effects the horses were having on these veterans who were battling invisible wounds of combat…she ‘knew’ she had to create a way to share this with the world.

Over the course of the next several years and after enlisting the writing powerhouse of Paula Tiberius, Kate held steady in her aim to bring the world of ‘Idyllwild’, its characters and healing charm to audiences.

The path to the birth of IDYLLWILD has led Kate to the most profound and powerful of friendships. There is no question that angels and a higher power are behind all that is Idyllwild…

The military, first responder, faith and equine advisors who have joined forces with Kate share the IDYLLWILD MISSION to ease the mental health crisis we are facing.
